Avision ADF-skanneri AD345GFWN — A4, 1200 x 1200 DPI, CIS, 100 arkin ADF, duplex, valkoinen

The Avision AD345GFWN is a compact ADF document scanner designed for office environments. It provides 1200 x 1200 DPI optical resolution with a CIS sensor, duplex scanning and a 100-sheet automatic document feeder for efficient batch processing. The scanner combines a fast ADF path with a flatbed-style capability for scanning irregular or thick media such as plastic cards, and uses an LED light source with a built-in display and robust daily duty cycle to support regular document digitisation tasks.

Advantages

The AD345GFWN offers high throughput — up to 60 ppm (120 ipm) at 200 dpi and 45 ppm (90 ipm) at 300 dpi — while maintaining a compact footprint. An advanced image processor automatically crops, deskews and optimises scanned images to speed up workflow. Built-in duplex scanning, hardware compression options and bundled software for creating searchable PDFs and sending scans to cloud services simplify document management. The scanner also supports long-page scanning and reliable feeding through reverse-roller technology.

Suitable for

• Office batch scanning of A4 documents and multi-page files
• Digitising receipts, invoices and correspondence
• Scanning plastic cards, ID or embossed cards up to 1.25 mm thick
• Workflows that require duplex scans and searchable PDF creation

When it may not be suitable

This scanner is intended for A4-centric office use; it does not accommodate larger media beyond A4/Legal form lengths supported. If you need very high-resolution archival scanning beyond 1200 x 1200 DPI or a flatbed large-format scanner for oversized originals, a specialised model would be more appropriate. Extremely delicate originals that cannot pass through an ADF should be handled with care or scanned on a dedicated flatbed device.

Key specifications

How to use

Install the provided TWAIN/ISIS drivers and bundled applications (Button Manager, AVScan, PaperPort) on a compatible PC. Load documents into the 100-sheet ADF or place cards/irregular originals on the flatbed/feeding area as required. Use Button Manager to configure one-touch jobs such as creating searchable PDFs, sending scans to e-mail, printer or cloud services (Google Drive, Evernote). Adjust resolution, colour mode and compression in the scanning software before starting the job. For best results, ensure paper is aligned, remove staples and select appropriate paper type settings.

What to consider before purchase

• Primary media size: optimized for A4/Legal formats — check maximum scan area 216 x 356 mm
• Required daily volume: rated for up to 10,000 sheets per day
• Need for duplex and batch scanning vs. fragile originals that require flatbed-only handling
• Network connectivity needs: available USB, Wi‑Fi and Ethernet LAN interfaces
• Card scanning capability and maximum card thickness (up to 1.25 mm)

Recommendations

To maintain reliable feeding and image quality, use standard office paper within recommended weights, keep the ADF rollers clean, and run regular calibration using the bundled software. For scanning sensitive or irregular originals, use the flatbed/card slot and avoid forcing materials through the ADF.
