BlueOptics BK839A InfiniBand-kuituoptinen kaapeli 2 m LC Aqua OM3

The BlueOptics BK839A InfiniBand fibre optic cable 2 m LC Aqua OM3 is a multimode patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in networking and data centre environments. The cable combines LC connectors with OM3 multimode fibre to support short to medium range links using InfiniBand interconnects and other compatible transceivers. Its 2 metre length and Aqua jacket colour make it suitable for structured cabling where identification and routing are important.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable delivers low attenuation and stable signal transfer for multimode applications. The LC duplex connectors provide a compact and reliable connection with simple push-pull operation. With a standard 125 µm core diameter and quality multimode construction, the cable supports high bandwidth and reduced modal dispersion compared with lower-grade multimode fibres, helping to maintain performance for InfiniBand and fibre channel links in racks and patch panels.

Suitable for

• InfiniBand connections between servers, switches and host adapters
• High-density patch panels and rack cabling
• Short to medium distance multimode fibre links in data centres
• Connections requiring LC duplex interfaces and OM3 performance

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Connector type: LC duplex (Aqua)
• Length: 2 m
• Core diameter: 125 µm
• Jacket colour: Aqua
• Application: Short to medium range high-bandwidth links

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before installation and use appropriate fibre cleaning tools if required. Insert the LC connectors into matching LC ports on InfiniBand adapters, switches or transceivers, ensuring correct polarity for duplex connections. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress: maintain bend radii recommended for multimode fibre and secure the cable in the rack or on cable management panels to prevent accidental disconnection or damage.

Recommendations

Use the cable with compatible OM3-rated transceivers and maintain clean connector endfaces to ensure optimal signal quality. For organised installations, label both ends and use colour coding to identify Aqua OM3 links within high-density cabling systems.
