BlueOptics CAB-OM3-SC-LC-1M-BO InfiniBand kuitu-kaapeli aqua 1m OM3 LC SC

The BlueOptics CAB-OM3-SC-LC-1M-BO is a 1 m InfiniBand-compatible fibre optic patch cable with OM3 multimode fibre and LC to SC connectors. Designed for full-duplex high-speed optical links, this aqua-coloured cable is intended for short-range data centre and networking connections where low attenuation and reliable transceiver coupling are required. The cable features a laser-optimized multimode OM3 core and an LSZH outer jacket for reduced smoke and no halogen release in case of fire.

Advantages

This OM3 LC–SC patch cable provides low insertion loss and high return loss for consistent signal quality and efficient transmission. Connectors use zirconia ceramic ferrules for stable mating performance and long lifetimes. The cable is produced with branded multimode fibre and quality connector components and is factory-tested with interferometer and OTDR to ensure measured input and return loss values. The LSZH sheath reduces fire-related hazards and meets common industry safety norms.

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before installation and use appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Plug the LC connector into the transceiver or LC port and the SC connector into the corresponding SC port or patch panel. Avoid tight bends and secure the cable to minimise mechanical stress; maintain the recommended bend radius for OM3 multimode fibre. If deploying in rack or patch panel environments, route the cable to prevent kinks and strain on connector interfaces.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable with care to preserve endface quality; clean connectors before each insertion and follow transceiver manufacturer guidelines for optical budgets. For installations requiring longer runs or different connector types, select the appropriate OM3 lengths and connector variants to match equipment interfaces and link loss requirements.
