BlueOptics ET7402-AOC-2M-BO InfiniBand-kuitukaapeli QSFP28 uros/uros

The BlueOptics ET7402-AOC-2M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable QSFP28 Male/Male is a 2-meter active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP28 connectors designed for high-speed data transmission in data centers and networking environments. It implements a transmitter and receiver on each end to transfer optical signals via multimode fiber, supporting 100GBASE-SR4 applications and compatible with platforms that accept QSFP28 AOC modules.

Advantages

This 2 m BlueOptics AOC delivers low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity up to 100 Gbps using a QSFP28 to QSFP28 interface. The active optical design reduces electrical-to-optical conversion burden on host ports and enables reliable short-reach multimode links without separate transceivers. Its male-to-male QSFP28 configuration provides plug-and-play compatibility with equipment that conforms to QSFP28 MSA guidelines, simplifying deployment in switches, routers and storage systems.

How to use

Insert each QSFP28 connector into the corresponding QSFP28 port on your network devices, ensuring the connector is correctly oriented and fully seated. No separate transceiver modules or additional configuration are required for standard QSFP28 ports that support AOC modules; the cable negotiates the link according to the devices' supported protocols. Verify link status on connected hardware and replace the cable if any physical damage or degraded signal indicators appear.

Recommendations

Use the BlueOptics 2 m AOC in well-organised rack environments with adequate bend radius and strain relief. Avoid tight bends, excessive pulling force and exposure to sharp edges. Confirm device compatibility with QSFP28 AOC modules and check firmware or hardware notes from your equipment vendor if link negotiation issues occur.
