Kuitu-kaapeli CBO SFP5252FU7.5MKB 7,5 m MPO OM4 violetti

BlueOptics Fiber optic cable SFP5252FU7.5MKB is a 7.5 m multimode OM4 trunk/patch cable with MPO termination in violet. Designed for high-density network links and data centre environments, this MPO OM4 cable supports parallel optics and short- to medium-reach multimode transmission. It is intended for use in 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet applications where reliable multimode performance and a compact MPO connector footprint simplify cabling between transceivers, cassette modules and patch panels.

Advantages

The MPO OM4 cable provides consistent insertion loss and modal bandwidth characteristics suitable for high-speed parallel links. The MPO termination reduces port density and simplifies cross-connections in racks and patching fields. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility for typical cabinet-to-cabinet or equipment-to-cassette runs while the violet jacket colour aids visual identification of OM4 multimode links in mixed-fibre environments. The cable’s construction supports straightforward routing and stable optical performance under normal data centre installation conditions.

How to use

Route the MPO OM4 cable between the required MPO ports on transceivers, cassette modules or patch panels, ensuring minimal bend radius and avoiding tight bends or kinks. Verify connector cleanliness before mating by inspecting and, if necessary, cleaning endfaces with approved fibre cleaning tools to prevent insertion loss from contamination. Align the MPO connector with the adapter or port keying, insert until the connector latch engages, and secure the cable in cable managers to maintain proper bend radius and strain relief. Perform link validation with appropriate test equipment after installation to confirm expected optical loss and link performance.

Recommendations

The cable is intended for indoor data centre and LAN environments; avoid outdoor exposure and direct sunlight. Use MPO-compatible cleaning and test procedures, route the cable in appropriate trays or managers, and follow equipment vendor guidelines for MPO parallel optical links to ensure reliable 40/100 Gigabit operation.
