SFP+ aktiivinen optinen kaapeli CBO SFP-AOC-10G-50M-RW-BO 10Gbit/s 50 m

The BlueOptics SFP+ Active Optical Cable CBO SFP-AOC-10G-50M-RW-BO is a factory-terminated, hot-pluggable SFP+ direct attach solution for 10Gbps links up to 50 meters. Designed to connect switches, servers and storage systems with SFP+ ports, this AOC integrates transceiver optics and duplex fiber in a single lightweight cable, reducing installation complexity and improving signal integrity. It supports low-latency, high-bandwidth transmission suitable for data center interconnects and high-performance network segments.

Advantages

This active optical cable offers a compact, pre-assembled alternative to discrete transceivers and patch fiber, simplifying deployment and reducing points of failure. By combining emitter, receiver and fiber in one unit it minimizes insertion loss and electromagnetic interference while providing consistent 10Gbps performance. The SFP+ form factor ensures compatibility with standard SFP+ ports and supports hot-swap installation for maintenance without system downtime.

Suitable for

• Top-of-rack and end-of-row switch interconnects in data centers
• Server-to-switch connections in enterprise and campus networks
• Storage area network links and high-speed aggregation layers
• Short-reach 10Gbps links where reduced cabling complexity is required

Key specifications

• Link speed: 10 Gigabits per second (10Gbps)
• Maximum cable length: 50 meters
• Connector / form factor: SFP+ pluggable module on both ends
• Cable type: Active optical duplex cable with integrated transceivers
• Latency: low-latency design suitable for latency-sensitive applications
• Power: powered through SFP+ host port, no external power required
• Operating environment: designed for typical data center ambient conditions

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on the two devices until it latches; ensure ports are powered and recognize SFP+ modules. The AOC is ready to use without additional configuration in most environments; verify link status and negotiate speed via device management interfaces if necessary. When removing, press the latch and pull the connector straight out to avoid stress on the cable assemblies.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Use the AOC for fixed, short-reach connections within racks or between adjacent racks. Confirm host device compatibility with SFP+ active optical cable modules and keep firmware and port settings up to date to ensure stable 10Gbps links.
