BlueOptics SFP28-25G-AOC1M-BO InfiniBand-kuituoptinen kaapeli 1 m aqua

The BlueOptics SFP28-25G-AOC1M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 1 m Aqua is a 1 metre active optical cable with SFP28 connectors designed for high-speed links in data centres and networking environments. It implements 25GBASE-SR4-compatible transmission over multimode fibre using integrated transmitter and receiver modules in each SFP28 connector, and is offered in an aqua jacket suited to multimode optical systems.

Advantages

This AOC provides a direct SFP28-to-SFP28 connection for short-reach high-bandwidth links and is compatible with equipment that supports 25G SFP28 AOC modules. The integrated transceivers reduce the need for separate optics and patch cords, simplifying installation and reducing component count. Its 1 metre length is suitable for dense rack and chassis cabling where predictable performance and low latency are required.

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 cage on the devices to be linked, ensuring the module latches securely. Use the cable to establish a direct optical connection between SFP28 ports configured for 25G operation. Confirm device compatibility and port configuration in the host equipment before deploying the cable, and avoid bending the cable sharply to maintain optical performance.

Recommendations

Verify that the target hardware supports SFP28 AOC modules rated for 25GBASE-SR4 and that firmware or vendor policies allow third-party AOC compatibility. Handle the SFP28 connectors by the housing, keep dust caps on unused ends, and maintain bend radii within manufacturer guidance to ensure stable optical performance.
