BlueOptics SFP3133EU1MK InfiniBand kuitukaapeli 1 m LC ST aqua

The BlueOptics SFP3133EU1MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable 1 m LC ST Aqua is a single‑meter multimode OM3 patch cable designed for high‑speed data links between networking equipment. It features an LC connector on one end and an ST connector on the other, with a 125 µm core diameter and full duplex transmission capability. The aqua jacket indicates OM3 grade fibre suitable for 10 Gigabit and higher short‑reach links in data centre and server room environments.

Advantages

This cable offers low insertion loss and high bandwidth capacity typical of OM3 multimode fibre, enabling reliable short‑reach InfiniBand connections. The mixed LC–ST connector configuration provides flexibility when interfacing with devices that use different port types without the need for additional adapters. Its 1 m length reduces excess cable slack, helping to maintain tidy patching panels and minimise signal attenuation caused by tight bends.

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for dust or contamination before insertion and clean if necessary using appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Carefully align and insert the LC and ST connectors into the corresponding ports on transceivers or patch panels until secure. Route the cable following rack management practices, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tensile stress. For removal, depress the LC latch and twist/pull the ST connector as required by its design to avoid damaging the ferrule or connector housing.

Recommendations

Store and handle the OM3 fibre cable in a manner that prevents kinking and keeps bend radii above manufacturer minimums; maintain clean endfaces and use proper labelling for short patch runs to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting.
