BlueOptics SFP3333EU15MK InfiniBand-kuituvalokaapeli 15 m ST

The BlueOptics SFP3333EU15MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15 m ST is a multimode OM3 cable designed for high-speed, full-duplex data transmission in networking environments. With ST connectors on both ends and a 15-metre length, this cable connects InfiniBand devices and other compatible fibre interfaces while maintaining signal integrity over medium distances. It is intended for use in data centres, server rooms and high-performance computing setups that require reliable optical links.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre offers low attenuation and consistent modal bandwidth for predictable performance in multimode networks. Full-duplex operation enables simultaneous bidirectional data flow, reducing latency in clustered systems. ST connectors provide a secure twist-lock connection that is widely supported in professional networking equipment. The 15 m length balances reach and flexibility for rack-to-rack or rack-to-equipment cabling runs.

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for dust or damage and clean with a fibre-safe cleaning tool before installation. Route the cable along cable management paths avoiding tight bends; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode OM3 fibre to prevent signal loss. Insert the ST connectors into compatible ports on InfiniBand adapters, switches or transceivers, ensuring a secure twist-lock engagement. Verify link status and perform a continuity or link test to confirm correct operation.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry, dust-free environment. Avoid excessive pulling force and kinking; secure the cable with suitable ties that do not compress the jacket. For reliable long-term performance, periodically inspect and clean connector endfaces and use protective dust caps when ports are not in use.
