BlueOptics SFP3333EU3MK InfiniBand kuitukaapeli 3 m 2x ST

The BlueOptics SFP3333EU3MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 3 m duplex link with two ST connectors, designed for short- to medium-range high-speed networking. Constructed with OM3 multimode fibre (50 µm core), this cable supports full duplex data transmission and is intended for InfiniBand environments where low latency and reliable signal integrity are required. The cable's straightforward ST terminations make it compatible with equipment that accepts bayonet-style multimode connectors.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers multimode OM3 performance suitable for high-bandwidth links over a few meters, providing consistent signal quality and minimal attenuation across the run. The duplex configuration enables simultaneous bidirectional communication, and ST connectors provide a secure mechanical connection with wide equipment compatibility. The 3 m length balances flexibility for rack-to-rack or rack-to-switch connections while keeping excess cable management minimal.

How to use

Inspect connector end-faces and ensure cleanliness before insertion. Align each ST connector with the corresponding ST receptacle on your transceiver or port, push in and twist the bayonet coupling to lock. Use one fibre per direction for duplex operation. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for OM3 multimode fibre. If needed, secure the cable with appropriate cable management to prevent strain on connectors and maintain optimal performance.

Recommendations

Keep connector end-faces free from dust and contaminants by using dust caps when ports are unused and perform periodic cleaning with approved fibre cleaning tools. For longer runs or different distance requirements, verify link budget and wavelength compatibility with your InfiniBand equipment and consider alternative fibre types or connector formats if necessary.
