BlueOptics UACC-AOC-SFP10-7M-BO InfiniBand kuitukaapeli SFP+ 7m uros/uros

The BlueOptics UACC-AOC-SFP10-7M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable SFP+ 7m Male/Male is a 7-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ connectors designed for high-speed 10G data links. Built to MSA SFP+ form-factor standards, this male-to-male AOC integrates transmitter and receiver modules at each end to carry optical signals over multimode fiber, providing a factory-assembled, plug-and-play connection for compatible network equipment.

Advantages

This 7 m SFP+ AOC delivers a reliable 10G data path without the need for separate transceivers, reducing cabling complexity and insertion loss compared with patch-cord plus transceiver setups. The cable is factory-tested for compatibility with major networking platforms that accept SFP+ AOC modules and implements digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM/DOM) to report key optical and electrical parameters in real time. Designed with industry-standard components and MSA-compliant mechanics, the AOC offers stable optical transmission and long service life suitable for dense rack and data centre interconnects.

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into compatible SFP+ ports on your networking devices until the latch clicks. Ensure both devices support SFP+ AOC modules and, where required, enable or verify DDM/DOM support for remote monitoring. Do not force the connector; align it with the port and handle the cable by the connector housings when plugging or unplugging. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and route it through rack channels or cable managers to prevent stress on the assemblies.

Recommendations

Verify hardware compatibility with your switch, router or host before deployment and, if possible, test the AOC in your environment. Maintain gentle cable bend radius, keep connector end faces free from contaminants, and monitor DDM/DOM parameters for early indication of signal or power issues.
