BlueOptics UOC-3-BO InfiniBand-kuituoptinen kaapeli 3 m LC uros-uros

The BlueOptics UOC-3-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 3 m LC male-to-male cable designed for high-speed optical connections in data centers and high-performance computing environments. The cable uses LC connectors on both ends and is intended for reliable, low-latency data transmission where InfiniBand connectivity is required. Its 3-meter length provides moderate reach for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment links while keeping signal paths short to preserve performance.

Advantages

This LC male-to-male InfiniBand cable provides a standardized connector interface for broad compatibility with devices that accept LC terminations. The 3 m length balances flexibility and manageability in server racks and network cabinets. Constructed for optical signal integrity, the cable is suitable for applications that demand consistent throughput and minimal interference. The male-to-male configuration ensures straightforward mating with LC female ports without the need for adapters.

Key specifications

How to use

Route the BlueOptics UOC-3-BO cable between LC-equipped ports on InfiniBand switches, host channel adapters, or optical transceivers. Ensure both LC connectors are clean and free of dust before insertion to minimize insertion loss. Gently insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC receptacle until it latches; avoid excessive bending of the cable and maintain the minimum bend radius recommended by the equipment manufacturer. For removal, depress the LC latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule or connector housing.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean LC connector endfaces with appropriate fibre-cleaning tools before each installation. Avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; secure the cable with cable management to prevent movement. For critical links, perform an optical test after installation to verify acceptable loss and continuity.
