How to use

Slide the heat-shrink tubing over the cable or joint so the damaged or uninsulated section is centered within the tube. Apply uniform heat using a heat gun, hot air tool or an appropriate heat source while rotating the assembly for even shrinkage. Heat until the tubing contracts uniformly and the thermoplastic adhesive flows to form a continuous seal against the substrate. Allow the assembly to cool to ambient temperature before handling to ensure the adhesive and polymer have set.

Recommendations

For best results, select a tubing diameter slightly larger than the component before shrinking to ensure full coverage after heat application. Use a temperature-controlled heat gun to avoid overheating; follow safety guidelines for working with hot tools.
