Cinch-liitin ShiverPeaks 51500-SG — RCA-audioliitin, musta kotelo, kullatut koskettimet

The ShiverPeaks 51500-SG Cinch (RCA) connector is designed for terminating audio and AV cables where reliable signal transfer and low-loss connections are required. It features a black housing and gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and reduce corrosion, making it suitable for hi‑fi systems, AV racks and custom cable assemblies. The connector is intended for use in audio patching and component interconnects between players, amplifiers, receivers and other audio equipment.

Advantages

The black housing provides a discreet, professional appearance that fits common AV setups. Gold-plated contacts offer better conductivity and enhanced resistance to oxidation compared with bare metal contacts, supporting consistent audio performance over time. The connector is compatible with standard RCA cable construction and is suitable for field assembly or workshop installation when a durable, low-loss contact is required.

Suitable for

• Terminating RCA audio cables for hi‑fi or home theater systems
• Patching audio components such as CD players, DACs, amplifiers and receivers
• Custom AV cable assemblies and replacements
• Studio and live sound signal routing where RCA connections are used

Key specifications

• Connector type: RCA (Cinch) audio connector
• Housing color: black
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Intended use: audio and AV cable terminations and interconnects

How to use

Strip the cable jacket and prepare the inner conductor and shield according to the connector's assembly requirements, then insert and secure the conductor and shield into the connector body following the manufacturer's assembly method. Ensure the center pin and outer sleeve contact are correctly positioned before final tightening to achieve a firm mechanical and electrical connection. Verify the finished connection for continuity and correct polarity before putting the cable into service.

Recommendations

For optimal long-term performance, use connectors with properly prepped cable ends and avoid excessive bending or mechanical strain at the termination point. Periodic inspection and, if necessary, gentle cleaning of the gold-plated contacts with appropriate contact cleaner will help maintain low-contact resistance and reliable audio quality.
