DC-liitin DELOCK Easy 45 5,5 x 2,1 mm liitäntä DC 5,5 x 2,1 mm

DELOCK Easy 45 DC connector adapts a 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC socket into a 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC plug. The compact adapter provides a simple mechanical and electrical connection between matching DC power cables and devices that use the common 5.5 x 2.1 mm power standard. It is designed for inline use to extend compatibility between chargers, power supplies, routers, small appliances and other electronics requiring a 5.5 x 2.1 mm power interface.

Advantages

The adapter offers a straightforward and space-saving solution for connecting identical 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC connectors without modifying cables or devices. Its compact form minimizes strain on connector joints and preserves polarity and contact continuity. The construction supports frequent plug-in cycles and enables quick swapping of power leads to maintain device uptime or to combine cables of different lengths.

How to use

Insert the 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC plug from one cable into the adapter's socket and connect the adapter's plug into the device or the other cable's socket. Ensure the connectors are fully seated and that the device is powered off when making the connection, if possible. Verify correct polarity and cable orientation before applying power. The adapter requires no tools for normal installation and can be carried as a spare part for on-site adjustments.

Recommendations

Use the adapter only with cables and devices that match the 5.5 x 2.1 mm specification and the expected voltage/current of the power source. Avoid bending or twisting the connected cables at the junction point to reduce mechanical stress. For permanent installations, consider using purpose-made cables or strain relief to prevent accidental disconnection.
