DeLOCK 85889 DisplayPort-kaapeli 30 m musta

This Delock DisplayPort cable (model 85889) is an active optical cable designed to connect devices with DisplayPort interfaces — for example monitors, TVs, projectors or PCs — over a long distance without signal loss. The cable is 30 m long, has DisplayPort connectors on both ends and a slim 5.4 mm diameter for flexible routing in installations where a long, low-loss connection is required.

Advantages

The active optical design preserves high-definition video and audio signals across a 30 m run while keeping the cable thin and flexible. Both ends use standard DisplayPort connectors for broad compatibility. The black jacket and 5.4 mm diameter provide a durable yet manageable cable for professional and home setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop to a distant monitor or TV
• Linking projectors in meeting rooms or lecture halls
• Installations requiring long, low-loss DisplayPort connections

How to use

Insert the DisplayPort connectors into the DisplayPort ports of the source device (PC or laptop) and the display device (monitor, TV or projector). Ensure connectors are fully seated and secure any latches if present. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and high-traffic pinch points; the 5.4 mm diameter allows flexible routing through cable channels and conduits. Powering requirements for the active cable are handled through the connected devices; follow device manuals if external power is required.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid tight bends (minimum bend radius consistent with a 5.4 mm cable), keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources, and verify both source and display support the desired DisplayPort resolution and refresh rate.
