DELOCK PCIe x16 -bifurkaatiokortti 4× sisäinen SFF-8643 NVMe, Low-Profile

The DELOCK PCIe x16 bifurcation card to 4× internal SFF-8643 NVMe, low-profile expands a desktop PC with four internal SFF-8643 NVMe connections using a PCIe Express x16 slot. The card is supplied in a low-profile bracket and provides internal SFF-8643 ports intended for connecting U.2-compatible NVMe SSDs via appropriate cables. The board is designed for systems that support PCIe bifurcation so that a single x16 host interface can be split across four NVMe devices. Colour details are green and white and the product is supplied as a single boxed unit.

Advantages

This PCIe bifurcation card enables consolidation of multiple NVMe drives on a single x16 slot without requiring a separate RAID card or an external enclosure. The low-profile design fits small form factor chassis while providing four internal SFF-8643 ports for NVMe storage. Compatibility with common desktop operating systems ensures straightforward integration in Windows 10/11 and systems running Linux Kernel 6.2 or newer when the platform supports PCIe bifurcation.

How to use

Install the card into an available PCIe x16 slot in the PC chassis and secure the low-profile bracket. Connect each NVMe SSD to the card’s internal SFF-8643 ports using appropriate SFF-8643 to U.2 or compatible cables (cables sold separately). Configure the motherboard firmware to enable PCIe bifurcation for the target x16 slot (for example set x16 to x4/x4/x4/x4 if supported). After enabling bifurcation and booting the system, the operating system should detect the individual NVMe devices; confirm in firmware/OS storage management that all drives are present and properly addressed.

Recommendations

The card requires motherboard support for PCIe bifurcation to access all four SFF-8643 ports; without bifurcation only the first port will be usable. Verify your motherboard manual or firmware settings and use quality SFF-8643/U.2 cables. For best performance, install NVMe SSDs in slots configured as separate PCIe x4 links and ensure the system BIOS/UEFI and OS are updated to the recommended versions.
