DisplayPort-kaapeli ShiverPeaks BS30-16485 40 m musta

The ShiverPeaks BS30-16485 DisplayPort cable 40 m Black is a long-reach video and audio transmission cable with DisplayPort connectors on both ends. With a 40-meter length and a 4.8 mm diameter conductor assembly, this cable is designed to bridge extended distances between source devices and displays while maintaining digital signal integrity. Manufactured in Germany, the cable is intended for installations where a durable, single-cable solution is required for high-resolution video and multichannel audio transport.

Advantages

The cable provides reliable DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort connectivity for long runs without the need for active extenders or repeaters in many typical installations. Its 4.8 mm overall diameter and minimum bend radius of 2 cm allow for relatively flexible routing in conduits and behind equipment. The black jacket offers neutral aesthetics suitable for professional and residential environments. Being manufactured to consistent standards in Germany supports predictable performance and quality control.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, workstations or media players to remote monitors or projectors over long distances
• Fixed AV installations in conference rooms, lecture halls, and control rooms
• Studio environments and digital signage where cable runs exceed typical desktop lengths
• Temporary event setups requiring a single long DisplayPort connection

Key specifications

• Cable length: 40 m
• Connector type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Overall cable diameter: 4.8 mm
• Minimum bend radius: 2 cm
• Colour: Black
• Country of manufacture: Germany

How to use

Route the DisplayPort cable between the source device and the display, avoiding sharp bends and tight kinks to preserve signal quality and cable lifetime. Ensure both devices are powered off when inserting or removing connectors to reduce the risk of connector damage. Insert the DisplayPort plugs fully until the latch engages (if present) to ensure a secure mechanical and electrical connection. When routing through cable trays or conduit, respect the reported minimum bend radius of 2 cm and avoid compressive strain from heavy objects.

Recommendations

For long runs approaching the cable length limit, verify required display resolutions and refresh rates with the cable in your specific setup; consider using signal boosters or active extenders if you encounter signal degradation at higher resolutions or frame rates. Regularly inspect connectors and cable jacket for damage and secure cable paths to prevent accidental pulls that could loosen connections.
