DSIT CAT 6a S/FTP LSOH -verkkokaapeli, 0,25 m, harmaa

High-density network installations often suffer from alien crosstalk and signal degradation, especially where cable bundles run parallel. This DSIT CAT 6a patch cable eliminates that issue with S/FTP shielding: each twisted pair is individually foiled, and an overall braided screen blocks external interference. The result is a rock-solid 10 Gigabit link up to 500 MHz, even in noisy environments. At 0.25 metres, it is perfect for neat patching between switches, patch panels, and servers in racks or cabinets.

Who is it for

Network administrators, data centre technicians, and AV professionals who need a short, reliable, high-performance patch lead. It suits anyone upgrading to 10GBASE-T or building a future-proof Cat 6a infrastructure. The LSOH jacket also makes it ideal for public buildings, offices, and anywhere fire safety regulations demand low-smoke, halogen-free cabling.

Main features

• S/FTP shielding: foil around each pair plus overall braid for maximum EMI/RFI rejection
• CAT 6a performance: supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 500 MHz bandwidth
• Ultra-short 0.25 m length: reduces cable clutter and improves airflow in racks
• LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket: emits very little smoke and no toxic halogens in a fire
• Gold-plated RJ45 connectors: corrosion-resistant and ensure reliable contact
• Stranded 26 AWG copper conductors: flexible and durable for frequent re-patching
• Backward compatible with Cat 6, Cat 5e, and Cat 5 networks

Tips

Use this cable for short, high-speed links inside racks or between adjacent devices. Keep the bend radius above four times the cable diameter to maintain signal integrity. For longer runs, choose a longer DSIT Cat 6a cable to avoid signal loss. Pair with Cat 6a patch panels and keystone jacks for a complete 10G-ready installation.
