Ernitec ELECTRA-U08-1GB-110W verkkokytkin 8 porttia 1 GB

The Ernitec ELECTRA-U08-1GB-110W is an 8-port Gigabit network switch with integrated PoE functionality, designed for small to medium-sized network environments. It supports IEEE 802.3, 802.3u and 802.3x standards, and includes two additional Gigabit RJ45 ports. The device offers multiple operation modes (VLAN, Default and Extend) and a single port capable of delivering up to 60W power.

Advantages

This switch provides eight Gigabit PoE ports and two Gigabit RJ45 ports with 10/100/1000 Mbps auto-negotiation, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of network devices. Panel indicator lights simplify status monitoring and troubleshooting. Flow control is handled by IEEE 802.3x in full duplex and by back pressure in half duplex. Extend mode allows extended reach by limiting ports 7–8 to 10 Mbps and automatically enabling PoE watchdog mode. Default PoE priority is assigned from port 1 to port 8.

Suitable for

• Small and medium office networks requiring PoE for IP phones, wireless access points, or cameras
• Retail and hospitality environments needing centralized power and data over Ethernet
• Edge network segments where compact, unmanaged Gigabit switching is needed

How to use

Install the switch on a stable surface or rack-mount if supported, connect the upstream network device to one of the Gigabit RJ45 ports, and connect end devices to the PoE ports. The RJ45 ports will negotiate 10/100/1000 Mbps automatically. Select the desired operating mode (Default, VLAN or Extend) according to network requirements. In Extend mode, note that ports 7 and 8 operate at 10 Mbps and will enable PoE watchdog for extended reach devices. Monitor the panel indicators for link, activity and PoE status during setup and operation.

Recommendations

Place the switch in a ventilated area away from heat sources, ensure the total PoE power consumption does not exceed the 110W budget, and assign higher-priority PoE devices to lower-numbered ports if consistent priority behavior is required.
