GNSS-vastaanotin Navilock NL-803P Multi GNSS u-blox 8, 5 m vaakasuuntainen tarkkuus

The Navilock NL-803P Multi GNSS receiver is built on the u-blox 8 chipset and supports multiple satellite constellations to provide stable position fixes with an approximate 5 m horizontal accuracy. The compact module is suitable for navigation, mapping and location-tracking applications where straightforward integration and consistent satellite reception are required. It is designed for use in portable setups, vehicle mounting and field operations where a reliable GNSS source is needed.

Advantages

The receiver combines multi-constellation support with the u-blox 8 engine to improve time-to-first-fix and maintain stable tracking in mixed-signal environments. Its compact form allows flexible installation in vehicles or portable enclosures while the built-in antenna options ensure dependable satellite reception. Power consumption and interface simplicity make the unit suitable for continuous operation or intermittent use in mapping and navigation tasks.

Suitable for

• Automotive navigation and route logging
• Handheld mapping and field data collection
• Asset and vehicle tracking
• General location-based services and time stamping

Key specifications

• Multi-GNSS reception (GPS, GLONASS, and additional constellations supported by u-blox 8)
• Approximate horizontal position accuracy: 5 m
• Compact receiver module suitable for vehicle or portable mounting
• Standard serial or USB interface for easy integration with host devices
• Low to moderate power consumption for extended field use

How to use

Mount the NL-803P in a location with a clear view of the sky to maximize satellite visibility. Connect the receiver to a host device using the provided interface and configure communication settings in the host application or firmware to read NMEA or binary messages from the u-blox engine. Allow a short acquisition period for the receiver to obtain almanac and ephemeris data; after an initial fix the unit will provide regular position updates suitable for navigation, tracking or mapping workflows.

Recommendations

For best performance, position the receiver away from large metal obstructions and other RF sources. Use firm mounting to minimize antenna movement when used in vehicles and periodically verify firmware and configuration settings in the host system to ensure compatibility with your mapping or tracking application.
