• Powering CCTV cameras and video surveillance accessories
• Supplying access control modules, card readers and door controllers
• Driving 12 V LED strips and low-voltage lighting circuits
• Powering small networked devices, sensors and alarm system components

Key specifications

• Output voltage: 12 V DC (regulated)
• Maximum output power: 40 W
• Output current: up to 3.33 A
• Input: AC mains to DC switched-mode conversion
• Efficiency: high-efficiency SMPS design (typical for switched-mode supplies)
• Form factor: compact enclosure suitable for panel or cabinet mounting
• Protection features: overload and short-circuit protection, thermal monitoring

How to use

Install the Atte AUPS-40-120-L1 in a dry, ventilated location with adequate clearance for heat dissipation. Connect the AC mains input following local electrical codes and ensure correct grounding. Connect the 12 V DC output to the target device(s) observing polarity and current limits; do not exceed the rated 40 W output. After wiring, power the unit and verify the output voltage and device operation. If the supply enters a protection state, disconnect the load and inspect for faults before reapplying power.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, avoid continuous operation above the rated ambient temperature and ensure proper ventilation. Use appropriate cable sizes and secure connections to minimize voltage drop. When powering multiple devices, calculate the total current draw to stay within the 3.33 A limit and consider adding a distribution fuse or circuit protection for each load.
