Hiomapaperi Bosch W480, hienorakeisuus P240, 115×140 mm, 2 kpl

Abrasive sheet Bosch W480, fine grit P240, 115×140 mm, 2 pcs is a flexible, tear-resistant hand sanding sheet designed for fine finishing and preparation of surfaces. The sheets measure 115 × 140 mm and come in a pack of two, featuring FEPA P240 abrasive for light sanding, smoothing primed surfaces, paint preparation and delicate deburring on wood, metal and painted substrates. The material is suitable for both dry and wet sanding and is washable to extend usable life.

Advantages

The Bosch W480 offers a long lifespan and resistance to creasing and tearing due to its reinforced web backing. Abrasive grit is applied on both sides to improve efficiency and reduce the need to change sheets frequently. A folding line and flexible construction allow easier access to edges and tight corners, while water resistance and washability help maintain performance during wet sanding and cleaning.

Suitable for

• Fine finishing of wooden surfaces
• Preparing painted surfaces before repainting
• Smoothing primer coats and filler
• Light deburring and edge sanding on metal and plastic parts

How to use

Select the Bosch W480 sheet and, if necessary, fold along the provided folding line to access edges or tight spots. Use light, even strokes following the surface direction to achieve a smooth finish; avoid applying excessive pressure which can shorten abrasive life. For wet sanding, keep the sheet and workpiece clean and rinse the sheet periodically to remove debris. Replace the sheet when the abrasive becomes clogged or worn to maintain consistent results.

Recommendations

For best results, start with a coarser grit where heavy material removal is needed and finish with the P240 Bosch W480 for smoothing and final surface preparation. When sanding painted surfaces, test a small area first and use appropriate personal protective equipment such as dust mask and eye protection. Rinse the sheet after wet use and allow it to dry flat to preserve its shape and performance.
