Hiomapaperi Metabo 635214000

The Metabo 635214000 sanding sheet is a hook-and-loop abrasive designed for use on wood materials. Sized 100 x 150 mm with grit P80, it fits compatible hand sanders and random orbit sanders that accept 100 x 150 mm sheets. The sheet features nine dust-extraction holes positioned to match standard pad patterns and a hook-and-loop backing for quick attachment and removal. Packs contain ten sheets, offering a balance of service life and convenience for routine woodworking and surface-preparation tasks.

Advantages

The P80 abrasive provides an effective cutting rate on soft and hardwood surfaces while still allowing controlled material removal. The nine-hole layout improves dust extraction when used with a compatible sander and vacuum system, reducing clogging and helping to maintain consistent abrasive performance. The hook-and-loop backing simplifies sheet changes and ensures secure mounting during operation.

Suitable for

• Sanding and shaping solid wood and engineered wood surfaces
• Removing old finishes, paint or varnish from wooden components
• Prepping wooden substrates for painting, staining or sealing
• Intermediate smoothing between coats on cabinetry and furniture

Key specifications

• Dimensions: 100 x 150 mm
• Abrasion grade: P80
• Number of dust-extraction holes: 9
• Backing type: Hook-and-loop (Velcro) for quick attachment
• Pack quantity: 10 sheets per pack
• Primary material application: Wood

How to use

Select a compatible sander that accepts 100 x 150 mm hook-and-loop sheets. Ensure the sander pad and hole pattern align with the nine-hole layout for optimal dust extraction. Attach the sanding sheet by pressing the hook-and-loop surfaces together, making sure the sheet lies flat and centered on the pad. Begin sanding with moderate pressure and move the sander evenly across the surface. Replace the sheet when the abrasive becomes clogged or worn to maintain consistent results. When sanding finishes or edges, adjust grit progression as needed for the desired surface smoothness.

Recommendations

For best results when working with wood, combine the sanding sheet with a compatible dust-extraction system and progress through finer grits after initial material removal. Store unused sheets in a dry, flat location to prevent curling or moisture absorption.
