InfiniBand/kuitu kaapeli BlueOptics BO272703Q7M-BO 7 m SFP28 uros/uros

The BlueOptics BO272703Q7M-BO is a 7 m InfiniBand/fibre optic cable with SFP28 male-to-male connectors designed for high-speed data transmission in modern network environments. Built for low-latency, high-bandwidth connections, this cable supports reliable signal integrity over its 7-metre reach and is suitable for use in data centres, server racks, and high-performance computing setups that require SFP28-compatible links.

Advantages

This cable provides consistent optical performance with minimal attenuation across short to medium distances, ensuring stable connections between SFP28 ports. Its SFP28 male connectors allow direct connection to transceivers and compatible ports, reducing the need for adapters. The 7 m length balances flexibility and manageability, enabling neat cable routing in rack environments while maintaining sufficient distance between equipment.

How to use

Install the cable by aligning each SFP28 male connector with the corresponding SFP28 port or transceiver and insert firmly until the connector latches. Ensure connectors and port interfaces are clean and free of dust before connection to prevent signal loss. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended by your equipment or fibre supplier. After installation, verify link status and performance using network management tools or interface indicators on your devices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use with SFP28-compatible transceivers and maintain proper fibre handling procedures: keep connectors capped when not in use, clean endfaces with appropriate tools, and avoid tight bends or pinching. Confirm compatibility with device firmware and link settings when integrating into InfiniBand or high-speed Ethernet infrastructures.
