InLine kuitu-duplexkaapeli LC/SC 50/125µm OM3 5m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/SC 50/125µm OM3 5m is a duplex multimode fiber patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling environments. Featuring LC connector on one end and SC connector on the other, this 5-meter cable uses a 50/125 µm core/cladding multimode OM3 fiber optimized for laser-based 850 nm systems, delivering low attenuation and consistent signal integrity for network links in data centers, server rooms and campus networks.

Advantages

This InLine OM3 duplex cable provides stable multimode performance with a 50/125 µm core diameter that supports higher bandwidth over longer distances compared with lower-grade multimode fibers. The mixed LC-to-SC configuration allows flexible connection between equipment with different port types without adapters. The 5 m length balances reach and cable management needs while maintaining low insertion loss and return loss typical of factory-terminated optical patch cords.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, transceivers and patch panels in data centers
• Linking servers and storage arrays in server rooms
• Short- to medium-range multimode fiber backbones and horizontal runs
• Interfacing equipment with LC ports to devices with SC ports

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector configuration: LC to SC duplex
• Length: 5 m
• Mode: Duplex (two fibers for full-duplex transmission)
• Optimized wavelength: 850 nm (laser launch optimized)
• Typical use: Patch cord for Ethernet, Fibre Channel and InfiniBand multimode links

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for dust or contamination before insertion and clean with appropriate fiber optic cleaning tools if required. Align and insert the LC connector into the LC adapter or port until it clicks, and insert the SC connector into the corresponding SC adapter or port until it seats securely. Avoid tight bending; maintain a bend radius consistent with multimode fiber specifications and secure the cable to prevent strain on the connectors. Verify link continuity and optical power levels with suitable test equipment after installation.

Recommendations

Store the cable in a dry, dust-free environment and protect connector endfaces with dust caps when not in use. For optimal performance in high-speed environments, use with compatible OM3-rated transceivers and ensure connectors are kept clean to minimise insertion loss and reflections.
