InLine kuitu-duplexkaapeli SC/SC 9/125µm OS2 25m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/SC 9/125µm OS2 25m provides a reliable fibre connection for high-speed data transmission. With a 9 µm core and OS2 single-mode construction, the cable is intended for long-distance links and low-attenuation performance. Both ends are terminated with SC connectors in a duplex configuration to support simultaneous bidirectional communication between network devices.

Advantages

This SC/SC duplex fibre cable offers low loss thanks to OS2-grade single-mode fibre and a standardized 9/125 µm core/cladding size. The duplex format allows full-duplex data transfer without additional cabling. Pre-terminated SC connectors simplify installation and ensure stable optical mating. The 25 m length covers many in-building and short backbone runs while maintaining consistent signal quality.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and fibre transceivers in data centres
• Longer-distance single-mode links in telecommunications networks
• Patch panels and structured cabling backbones

How to use

Route the duplex cable between the two intended fibre ports, ensuring connectors are clean before insertion. Align and insert the SC connectors into the corresponding SC sockets until they click or seat firmly. Use appropriate cable management and strain relief to avoid bending the fibre below its minimum bend radius. Test the link with suitable optical equipment to verify attenuation and signal integrity after installation.

Recommendations

Keep SC connector endfaces free of dust and contaminants by using dust caps when the cable is not connected; inspect and clean endfaces with approved fibre cleaning tools prior to mating. Avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress to preserve OS2 performance over the cable's service life.
