InLine kuitu-simplexkaapeli FTTH LC/APC 8° - LC/APC 8° 9/125µm OS2 2 m

Telecommunications companies such as Vodafone, Deutsche Glasfaser and Telekom are increasingly enabling fibre connections for private households in Germany. Fibre to the home (FTTH) cables from InLine connect the house transfer point with the fibre optic modem and ensure a reliable fibre optic connection in your home.
Unfortunately, pre-installed cables from providers are often of poor quality and sometimes only 1.6mm thick. If the cable breaks, even the fastest fibre optic connection will not help. InLine FTTH cables are 3mm thick and have a particularly stable structure. Additional reinforcement in the form of a stainless steel spiral tube guarantees a long-term, reliable fibre optic connection in private homes. The neutral sheath colour white is suitable for inconspicuous installation in visible living areas. Different lengths up to 50m allow you to remain flexible, even if the position of the modem changes.

InLine Fiber Optical Simplex Cable, FTTH, LC/APC8° to LC/APC8° 9/125µm OS2 2m. Cable length: 2 m, Fibre optic type: OS2, Connector 1: LC, Connector 2: LC, Core diameter: 9 µm

How to use

Route the InLine FTTH LC/APC simplex cable between the fibre outlet and the optical device, avoiding sharp bends and tensile stress; the recommended minimum bend radius is the manufacturer's specified value for similar armoured 3 mm cables (avoid tight loops). Ensure connectors are clean before mating and remove protective caps only when ready to connect. Insert LC connectors into the corresponding LC/APC ports with the keyed latch until it clicks, observing connector orientation for APC-angled interfaces. After installation, verify the link with an optical power meter or use the supplied test report to confirm performance.

Recommendations

Store and install the cable in dry conditions and protect connector end faces from dust and dirt; clean end faces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before each connection. Avoid bending the cable below its minimum bend radius and do not apply excessive tensile force. Use this 2 m armoured cable for short indoor FTTH connections where a robust, low-loss LC/APC link is required.
