Irix Cine 15mm T2.6 Canon EF Imperial -objektiivi

For cinematographers who demand ultra-wide perspective without distortion, the Irix Cine 15mm T2.6 stands apart with its rectilinear design and full-frame coverage. This lens delivers a sweeping 110° angle of view while keeping straight lines straight—ideal for architecture, interiors, and dramatic establishing shots. The Imperial focus scale is engraved in feet, matching traditional cinema workflows.

Highlights

• Ultra-wide 15mm focal length with full-frame image circle
• Fast T2.6 aperture for low-light control and shallow depth
• Rectilinear optical design with minimal distortion
• 0.8 MOD gears on focus and aperture for follow focus systems
• Weather-sealed construction with three rubber gaskets
• 95mm front filter thread and rear gel filter slot

In daily use

The lens feels solid and precise, with a 180° focus rotation that allows fine adjustments even at close range. The aperture ring rotates 75° and is clickless, enabling smooth iris pulls during a shot. Focus breathing is very low, so rack focusing won't noticeably change the framing. The Neutrino coating reduces flare and ghosting while maintaining high contrast and accurate colour rendition. With a minimum focus distance of just 0.25 m, you can get extremely close to subjects for dramatic wide-angle perspectives.
