Kaapeliadapteri ShiverPeaks BS13-40002

The ShiverPeaks BS13-40002 is a compact USB Type-C gender changer designed to join two USB Type-C cables to extend reach or adapt cable ends. Finished in a matte black housing, the adapter provides a simple mechanical connection that preserves the existing cable conductors and shielding, enabling continued use for charging and data transfer without altering the connected cables.

Advantages

The adapter's small form factor supports discreet installation in tight spaces while maintaining a stable connection between USB Type-C cables. Its durable casing resists daily wear and the direct pass-through design avoids introducing additional active electronics, which helps maintain original cable performance for power delivery and data. The neutral black finish integrates with a wide range of devices and cable styles.

Suitable for

• Extending the length of an existing USB Type-C cable
• Connecting devices where a longer reach between two Type-C cables is needed
• Temporary setups where a rapid link between Type-C cables is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB Type-C female to USB Type-C female
• Color: black
• Form factor: compact inline gender changer
• Weight: lightweight, pocketable adapter
• Compatibility: fits standard USB Type-C cables and ports

How to use

To use the adapter, insert each USB Type-C cable plug into the female ends of the gender changer until fully seated. Ensure connectors are aligned and push straight in to avoid damaging the cable or adapter. Once connected, verify that devices recognize the connection for charging or data transfer. If a device does not detect the link, disconnect and re-seat the cables or test with alternate certified cables to confirm compatibility.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for passive extension only; do not expect it to add advanced features such as signal boosting, protocol conversion, or increased power delivery beyond what the original cables and connected devices support. For high-current charging or high-speed data applications, use quality-certified USB Type-C cables and minimize the total combined cable length to maintain signal integrity.
