Kaapeliadapteri ShiverPeaks BS75006

The ShiverPeaks BS75006 Cable Gender Changer is an RJ45 inline adapter designed to connect two Ethernet cables directly, allowing reversal of connector gender without changing the cable ends. Constructed with gold-plated contacts and a compact black housing, the adapter supports reliable physical connections for standard twisted-pair Ethernet cables and preserves signal integrity across short in-line joins.

Advantages

The gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and ensure consistent electrical contact over repeated insertions. Its compact form factor takes minimal space in cable runs and patch panels, while the robust connector shells provide stable mating with standard RJ45 plugs. The neutral black finish integrates unobtrusively into residential and professional network environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting two RJ45 Ethernet cables when a male-to-male or female-to-female conversion is required
• Temporary network extensions in home, office, or lab setups
• Patch panels, switch consoles, or wall outlet adjustments where cable gender mismatch occurs

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ45 inline gender changer
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Housing color: black
• Compatible cable types: Cat5e/Cat6 and other standard unshielded or shielded twisted-pair Ethernet cables (subject to cable category compatibility)
• Dimensions: compact inline form factor for minimal space usage

How to use

To use the cable gender changer, align the RJ45 plug of the first Ethernet cable with one side of the adapter and insert until it clicks into place. Insert the RJ45 plug of the second Ethernet cable into the opposite side of the adapter. Verify the physical connection and then test network link status on the connected devices. For best results, avoid placing excessive strain on the adapter or bending connected cables sharply near the connector.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for short inline connections and temporary adjustments. For permanent installations or long runs, consider replacing or re-terminating cables to maintain optimal signal performance. Keep connectors clean and free of dust; avoid exposure to moisture and physical impact to prolong service life.
