Kaapelin puristuspihdit Cimco 106005 puristustyökalu musta punainen

The Cimco 106005 Cable Crimper is a hand crimping tool designed for reliable termination of a variety of cable connectors. It combines a robust metal construction with an ergonomic grip and weighs approximately 690 g, offering stable handling and controlled force application during crimping operations. The tool is intended for creating consistent mechanical and electrical connections on compatible cable end fittings and is suitable for use in workshop, installation and maintenance environments.

Advantages

This crimping tool features a durable build that resists wear from repeated use and a comfortable handle that reduces hand fatigue during extended tasks. The mechanism provides consistent crimp pressure for repeatable results and the profile of the jaws supports precise alignment of connector and conductor. The tool’s weight and balance aid controlled operation while the construction supports long-term service life with basic maintenance.

Suitable for

• Crimping insulated and non-insulated cable terminals and connectors
• Electrical installation and repair work in residential and light commercial settings
• Workshop and field service use by electricians and technicians
• DIY projects involving cable assemblies and wiring harnesses

Key specifications

• Approximate weight: 690 g
• Handle finish: dual-color (black and red) ergonomic grips for improved hold
• Construction: hardened metal crimping head and steel body for durability
• Operation: manual hand-operated ratchet or direct squeeze mechanism for controlled crimping
• Compatibility: suitable for a range of common cable connector sizes and types used in electrical and electronic applications

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the insulation to the required length, insert the conductor into the appropriate connector, then position the connector between the crimping jaws. Squeeze the handles evenly until the mechanism completes the crimp cycle or until the connector is firmly deformed to the correct profile. Inspect the crimped joint visually and, if applicable, perform a pull test to confirm mechanical integrity. Clean the tool after use and store it in a dry place to prevent corrosion.

Recommendations

Use the crimper with connectors and cable sizes within the tool’s intended range. Avoid applying excessive force beyond normal operation to prevent damage to the jaws or connector. Periodically check and tighten any fasteners on the tool, lubricate pivot points lightly, and replace the tool if jaw alignment or crimp quality degrades.
