The compact InLine® Cat.6A patch cable coupler is the ideal solution for robust, shielded RJ45 connections in confined spaces. With a housing length of only 74 mm, the coupler is particularly suitable for distribution boxes, industrial enclosures, or outdoor applications where IP68 protection is required.
The coupler provides a reliable Cat.6A connection with bandwidths up to 500 MHz and a transmission rate of up to 10 Gb/s over distances of up to 100 m. Thanks to the high-quality shielding, data transmission is protected and kept stable even in EMC-critical areas. The rubber seal and green sealing ring ensure complete sealing in accordance with IP68.
The housing is made of durable nylon (PA66) and is suitable for cable diameters from 1.5 to 7.5 mm (in two ranges). Tool-free installation is carried out using the integrated screw system – ideal for installations where speed and reliability are important.
Whether for network connections in outdoor areas, in machine environments, or in outdoor enclosures, this RJ45 coupling meets the highest requirements for stability, protection, and performance.

How to use

Prepare both cable ends with standard RJ45 terminations and select the correct cable diameter range on the coupler. Insert the cables into the coupler until they seat fully into the Cat.6A female contacts, then secure the connection by tightening the integrated screw mechanism to compress the silicone seal. Ensure the green sealing ring is properly positioned to achieve IP68 protection. No additional tools are required for assembly; check the connection visually and with network testing equipment if verification of signal integrity is needed.

Recommendations

Use this InLine Cat.6A coupler for shielded RJ45 connections where space is limited and environmental protection is required. For reliable 10 Gbit/s links, maintain cable runs within specified limits, ensure correct shielding continuity across connected cables, and verify sealing after installation to preserve IP68 protection.
