Kiillotuslaikat Bosch 2608613009

The Bosch Polishing Felts (2608613009) are felt polishing pads designed for pre-polishing painted and lacquered surfaces to remove light scratches and contamination. With a diameter of 12.8 cm, these black felt pads are intended for use with polishing compounds or grinding pastes and are compatible with orbital sanders. They are suitable for finishing work on automotive paints, furniture lacquer and other coated surfaces where a smooth, uniform gloss is required.

Advantages

These Bosch polishing felts provide a soft but resilient contact surface that helps distribute polish evenly and reduces the risk of creating uneven areas. Their 12.8 cm diameter offers a practical working area for both small repairs and larger panels. The felt material is compatible with common polishing compounds and can be mounted on orbital sanders for controlled, consistent pre-polishing.

How to use

Attach the polishing felt securely to a compatible backing pad on an orbital sander according to the sander manufacturer's instructions. Apply a small amount of suitable polishing compound or grinding paste to the felt or directly to the work surface. Work at low to moderate speed with light, even pressure, moving the sander in overlapping passes until the desired surface condition is achieved. Clean the surface and the felt regularly during use to avoid contaminant build-up.

Recommendations

For best results, test the polishing process on a small, inconspicuous area first to select the appropriate compound and speed. Replace the felt if it becomes heavily contaminated or shows significant wear to avoid surface defects.
