Kojerasia Lanberg PPU6-1048-S 1U

The Lanberg PPU6-1048-S 1U patch panel is a passive component for structured cabling, intended for use in main and secondary distribution points of high-speed telecommunication systems. Designed for mounting in standard 19" rack cabinets, it provides termination and orderly organization of twisted-pair cables and features 48 unshielded RJ-45 Category 6 ports. The panel is constructed from durable metal with a grey finish and includes a stiffened shelf with handles and an attached cable management panel to improve assembly stability and cable routing.

Advantages

The use of IDC/LSA connectors enables fast and reliable termination of twisted-pair cables without the need for additional soldering. Compatibility with Category 6 RJ-45 ports supports Gigabit Ethernet and modern network requirements. The cable management panel and stiffened shelf with handles simplify cable organization and provide mechanical stability within a 1U space. Its 19" rack compatibility and compact dimensions make it suitable for dense installations.

Suitable for

• Patch panels and horizontal cabling in server rooms and network closets
• Termination of Category 6 UTP cables in main or intermediate distribution frames
• Telecommunication cabinets requiring compact 1U components

How to use

Mount the patch panel into a standard 19" rack occupying one unit (1U) of height and secure it with appropriate rack screws. Terminate each twisted-pair Category 6 cable on the IDC/LSA connectors following the T568A or T568B wiring scheme as required by your installation. Route cables through the attached cable management panel and use the handles on the stiffened shelf to position and support cable bundles, keeping patch cords and horizontal cabling organized and strain-relieved.

Recommendations

For best performance, use Category 6 UTP cables and maintain appropriate bend radius and separation from power lines. Verify wiring continuity and pair order after termination, and label ports for easier maintenance. Ensure rack mounting hardware is properly tightened to maintain mechanical stability.
