Key specifications

How to use

Install the hygrostat inside the enclosure or technical space where monitoring is required, following standard electrical safety and mounting practices. Connect the switching contacts to the controlled device(s) such as a fan, heater or dehumidifier according to wiring diagrams supplied by the system integrator or installer. Adjust the humidity setpoint manually to the desired relative humidity level at which the controller should actuate the connected equipment. Periodically inspect the unit and surrounding area for dust or contamination that could affect sensor response, and verify switching operation during maintenance checks.

Recommendations

Place the hygrostat in a representative location within the enclosure, avoiding direct drafts from vents or heating elements. Select a setpoint that balances protection from condensation with acceptable ambient levels for installed equipment. For critical applications, combine the hygrostat with additional environmental monitoring or fail-safe measures to ensure continued protection in case of device or power failure.
