Kuidun seinäkotelo DIGITUS DN-96843M-OS2, Singlemode, esikoottu, 24×LC DX -adapteri pigtaileilla, teräs, harmaa, 320×54×280 mm

Wall-mounted fiber optic housing DIGITUS DN-96843M-OS2 is a pre-assembled singlemode distribution unit designed for compact fibre termination, patching and distribution tasks. The steel enclosure is finished in grey and contains 24 LC duplex (DX) adapters with 2 m pigtails, providing a ready-to-use solution for FTTH, telecom closets and small server rooms. With a compact footprint of 320×54×280 mm and lockable front cover, the unit secures connections while simplifying cable management and installation.

Advantages

The enclosure arrives assembled with LC DX adapters and singlemode OS2 pigtails, which reduces installation time and allows rapid deployment of fiber links. Its steel construction offers mechanical protection for fiber splices and connectors, while the compact dimensions make it suitable for locations with limited space. Built-in cable inlets with sponge rubber strips and integrated routing points help maintain bend-radius control and protect fibres from mechanical stress. The lockable front ensures controlled access to fiber connections.

Suitable for

• FTTH subscriber terminations and small distribution nodes
• Patch panels in telecom closets and comms rooms
• Fiber backbone or lateral connections in small server rooms
• Environments requiring high-density singlemode connections in limited space

How to use

Mount the DIGITUS DN-96843M-OS2 housing on a suitable wall surface using appropriate fasteners and ensure the unit is level. Route incoming and outgoing cables through the top or bottom inlet grommets, maintain bend-radius requirements and secure cables to the internal routing points. Use the pre-installed LC duplex adapters and 2 m pigtails to terminate and test singlemode links, splice incoming fibers as required and manage excess fiber length inside the tray. Close and lock the front cover after work to protect the connections.

Recommendations

To preserve long-term optical performance, avoid tight bends and excessive tension on pigtails and incoming fibers. Perform connector cleaning before mating, use compatible singlemode OS2 components, and allow sufficient slack for future rework. For best results install in a dust-minimized environment and verify connections with an optical power meter or microscope after assembly.
