DIGITUS kuitujatkosrasia LC OS2 1U 6xLC-DX kasetilla, pigtaileilla ja liittimillä

The Digitus Fiber Optic Splice Box DN-96330/9 is a 1U rack-mountable splice enclosure designed for LC duplex connections. Constructed with a steel housing and finished in grey, it measures 483 mm (W) x 280 mm (D) x 44.5 mm (H). The unit is supplied equipped with six LC duplex adapter ports (6x LC DX), an integrated splice cassette, colored pigtails and couplers, providing a compact solution for orderly fiber management and protection of spliced joins.

Advantages

The steel chassis offers mechanical strength and long-term durability while the 1U form factor fits standard rack installations. Preinstalled splice cassette and colored pigtails simplify installation and identification of fibres. Integrated couplers with LC duplex ports provide ready access for patching and reduce on-site termination work. The compact dimensions allow efficient use of rack space without sacrificing fiber routing and bend protection.

Suitable for

• Data centre rack installations requiring LC duplex connections
• Telecommunications distribution frames and server rooms
• Indoor fiber management and splice protection in office or equipment rooms

How to use

Mount the splice box in a standard 19" rack occupying one rack unit. Open the front cover to access the splice cassette and place prepared fiber pigtails into the provided organizer. Perform splicing inside the cassette according to your splicing method, secure the fibres in the splice holders and route the pigtails to the LC couplers. Close the cover after cable routing to ensure bend protection and mechanical safety. Use the colored pigtails for straightforward identification during patching.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, follow standard singlemode fiber handling procedures: keep fiber ends clean, maintain minimum bend radii, secure cables to prevent strain, and label pigtails according to your site documentation. Use compatible LC duplex patch cords and ensure splices are protected within the cassette.
