Kuitu-kaapeli BlueOptics JE6E608QE8-NB003M-BO MTP OM4 3 m violetti

The BlueOptics JE6E608QE8-NB003M-BO MTP OM4 3 m Violet is a 3-metre multimode fibre optic cable designed for high-bandwidth InfiniBand and data centre interconnects. It uses MTP connectors on both ends and OM4 graded-index multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter, providing low insertion loss and consistent signal transmission for short to medium range links. The violet jacket and blue product family styling aid in visual identification in cabling racks and patch panels.

Advantages

This OM4 MTP cable delivers high data throughput and controlled modal dispersion for improved performance in parallel optics and breakout assemblies. Its factory-terminated MTP connectors ensure precise alignment of multiple fibres, reducing connector variability and simplifying installation. The 3 m length provides a balance between reach and manageability in dense racks, while the multimode construction supports commonly used short-range transceiver modules and InfiniBand interfaces.

How to use

Install the cable by aligning the MTP connector keys with the adapter or cassette orientation and gently insert until a positive latching click is felt. Avoid bending the cable below its minimum bend radius and route it through cable management to reduce stress on the connectors. For reliable performance, ensure connectors and adapter interfaces are clean before mating; use appropriate fibre cleaning tools or wipes rated for optical connectors.

Recommendations

Handle the cable by the connector housings when mating and unmating, store with gentle coils to avoid tight bends, and periodically inspect connector endfaces for contamination. Use this OM4 MTP cable with compatible multimode transceivers and MTP adapters to achieve expected link performance in InfiniBand and data centre installations.
