Kuitukaapeli BlueOptics EFE350-0015M-AQ-R-BO LC LC/UPC OM3 15 m aqua

The BlueOptics EFE350-0015M-AQ-R-BO LC to LC fibre optic cable is a 15 m duplex patch cable engineered for high-speed data transmission in modern networks. Constructed with OM3 multimode fibre and a 50 µm core diameter, this aqua-coloured cable supports low-loss connections and is suitable for InfiniBand and other high-bandwidth environments. Both ends are fitted with LC connectors terminated with UPC polish for stable signal integrity and reduced back reflection. The cable’s length and multimode specification make it appropriate for rack-to-rack, patch panel and short-range backbone links within data centres and enterprise networks.

Advantages

This OM3 multimode cable delivers predictable performance for 10 Gbps and higher-speed links over short to medium distances. The LC/UPC terminations provide consistent mating with LC ports and transceivers, while the 50 µm core ensures compatibility with multimode transceiver standards. The aqua jacket simplifies identification in structured cabling installations and the duplex construction maintains correct polarity for channel connections. The cable is designed to balance signal quality and flexibility for typical data centre routing and patching needs.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each LC connector into the corresponding LC duplex adapter or transceiver port until it clicks into place. Ensure correct polarity when connecting duplex links by following the channel wiring scheme used in your installation. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and areas of mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode fibre to prevent increased attenuation. For clean connections, inspect and, if necessary, clean LC endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before mating.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 LC-LC cable for short- to medium-distance multimode links where compatibility with LC/UPC transceivers and InfiniBand equipment is required. For optimal performance, pair with OM3-rated transceivers and avoid exceeding the recommended bend radius or exposing the cable to excessive pulling forces during installation.
