Kuitukaapeli BlueOptics EFE350-005M-AQ-R-BO LC LC/UPC OM3 5 m aqua

The BlueOptics EFE350-005M-AQ-R-BO LC to LC/UPC OM3 fibre optic cable in aqua is a 5 m multimode patch cable engineered for high-speed data links. With a 50 µm core diameter and OM3 fibre specification, it supports short- to medium-range connections with low attenuation and stable signal transmission. The LC/UPC endfaces provide precise mating and return loss characteristics suitable for InfiniBand and other data centre interconnects. The aqua jacket identifies OM3 performance and simplifies cabling management.

Advantages

This 5 m OM3 cable offers low insertion loss and consistent multimode performance, reducing the need for signal compensation in typical data centre and networking environments. The LC/UPC connectors ensure reliable mechanical alignment and repeated mating cycles without significant signal degradation. The aqua-coloured jacket improves visual identification in cable runs while the jacket construction provides mechanical protection and flexibility for rack and patch panel installations.

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or damage before installation. Align the LC connectors with the device ports and insert until the latch engages; avoid excessive force. Route the cable through existing cable management paths, maintaining recommended bend radii for multimode fibre to prevent macrobending loss. For best results, secure the cable at intervals to avoid strain on connectors and patch panels.

Recommendations

Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before connecting and use dust caps when not in use. Avoid tight bends and sharp kinks; maintain manufacturer-recommended bend radius. For critical links, validate link performance with optical testing tools after installation.
