Kuitukaapeli BlueOptics SFP3333BU0.5MK 0,5 m ST keltainen G.657.A1

The BlueOptics SFP3333BU0.5MK 0.5 m ST Yellow G.657.A1 is a short-length fibre optic patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in networking environments. This cable uses G.657.A1 single-mode fibre with a 125 µm core diameter and ST connectors on both ends, providing stable optical performance for linking transceivers, patch panels and active equipment in data centres, telecommunications racks and office infrastructures.

Advantages

The cable's G.657.A1 fibre type offers improved bend performance compared with older single-mode fibres, allowing tighter routing in constrained spaces without significant signal loss. The 0.5 m length minimises excess slack and reduces clutter in dense rack installations. ST connectors provide a secure bayonet-style connection that is widely compatible with legacy and modern networking equipment. The yellow jacket follows common colour conventions for single-mode cabling, aiding quick identification during installation and maintenance.

How to use

Inspect connector end faces and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before making connections to avoid signal degradation. Align the ST connector, insert and engage the bayonet lock until it clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and external mechanical stress; G.657.A1 fibre tolerates tighter bends but still requires reasonable bend radii to maintain performance. When disconnecting, depress the bayonet sleeve and pull straight out to avoid damaging the connector or port.

Recommendations

The cable is intended for indoor installations and short patch links; avoid outdoor exposure or direct burial. Use dust caps on unused connectors and store the cable coiled without tight loops. For extended runs or different connector types, select appropriate lengths or adapters to match equipment requirements.
