Kuitukaapeli EFB Elektronik O0318FT.40

The EFB Elektronik O0318FT.40 is a 40 m OM4 flat twin duplex jumper with SC connectors on both ends. Its design includes an additional outer jacket made from LSZH material, which increases mechanical stability and improves handling compared with standard jumpers. The cable supports high-speed data transmission and is suitable for data centre and enterprise networking where OM4 performance is required.

Advantages

The extra outer jacket provides higher stability and better protection against mechanical stress while the LSZH jacket reduces hazardous smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire. The flat twin duplex construction simplifies installation in tight spaces and the SC connectors on both ends provide reliable optical connections compatible with standard equipment.

Suitable for

• Data centre horizontal and interconnect cabling
• Enterprise network links requiring OM4 performance
• Patching panels and high-density rack installations

Key specifications

• Brand: EFB Elektronik
• Model / MPN: O0318FT.40
• Length: 40 m
• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Connector type: SC — both ends
• Cable type: Flat twin duplex jumper, I-V(ZN) HH
• Jacket material: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)

How to use

Route the flat twin duplex jumper between equipment ports or patch panels, ensuring connectors are clean before insertion. Align and insert SC connectors into compatible SC adapters or ports until they click. Avoid sharp bends and secure the cable along trays or under cable management to prevent strain on the connectors. The flat profile helps to lay multiple jumpers closely in high-density areas.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep connector end-faces clean using appropriate fiber cleaning tools and follow manufacturer guidelines for bend radius and handling. Use the cable in indoor installations and environments where reduced smoke and toxic emissions are required.
