Kuitukaapeli EFB Elektronik O0947.15 15 m LC SC I-V(ZN) H keltainen

The EFB Elektronik O0947.15 is a 15 m fibre optic cable with LC and SC connectors, designed for single-mode OS2 fibre with a 9 µm core diameter. As a fibre jumper (patchcord) it provides the shortest connection between passive interfaces and active device ports in structured cabling installations. The cable uses the I-V(ZN) H construction and comes in yellow for easy identification.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable supports OS2 single-mode transmission to minimize signal loss over longer distances and is terminated with LC and SC connectors for compatibility with common equipment. The 9 µm core diameter matches industry standards for single-mode links. The I-V(ZN) H jacket offers flexibility and mechanical durability suitable for structured cabling environments, while the yellow sheath helps with visual identification of single-mode lines.

Suitable for

• Connecting passive fibre patch panels to active networking devices
• Single-mode backbone and interconnect links in data centres and telecom racks
• Structured cabling installations requiring LC-to-SC patchcords

How to use

Install the fibre jumper by connecting the LC end to the LC port and the SC end to the SC port of the corresponding devices or patch panels. Ensure connectors are clean and free of dust before mating to prevent signal degradation. Route the cable following the installation plan and avoid sharp bends; maintain minimum bend radius as recommended for single-mode I-V(ZN) H cables. Secure the cable to cable management elements to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fibre cleaning tools before every connection, avoid exceeding the cable's minimum bend radius, and label both ends for easier identification in multi-fibre installations.
