Kuitukaapeli LANBERG FO-LULU-MD41-0020-VT 2 m OM4 LC–LC violetti

LANBERG FO-LULU-MD41-0020-VT is a 2 m fibre optic patch cable with OM4 multimode fibre and LC–LC connectors. It is intended for high-speed data links in InfiniBand and fibre networks, offering low insertion loss and stable optical transmission for datacentres, server racks and equipment interconnects.

Advantages

The cable uses OM4 multimode fibre with 50/125 µm core/cladding for improved modal bandwidth, LC connectors polished to UPC standard for low back reflection and a duplex construction for duplex links. A 3.0 mm LSZH jacket provides a compact profile and reduced smoke and toxic emission in case of fire. Specified insertion loss below 0.25 dB and return loss better than 50 dB ensure reliable signal quality over the 2 m length.

Suitable for

• Interconnects between switches, transceivers and patch panels in datacentres
• Server rack connections and short-reach high-speed links
• InfiniBand and multimode fibre network applications

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC to LC (duplex)
• Polishing standard: UPC
• Fiber type: OM4 multimode
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Cable diameter: 3.0 mm
• Jacket material: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Insertion loss: < 0.25 dB
• Return loss: > 50 dB
• Operating temperature range: -40 to 85 °C
• Minimum bend radius: 7.5 mm
• Color: Violet
• Length: 2 m

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before installation and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Align LC connectors with corresponding LC ports and insert until a positive click confirms engagement. Route the duplex cable avoiding sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius of 7.5 mm. For best performance, avoid excessive tensile load on the cable and secure with cable management accessories in racks or panels.

Recommendations

Use this OM4 LC–LC duplex patch cable for short-reach, high-bandwidth links within racks and patch panels; keep connectors capped when not in use and follow standard fibre handling procedures to preserve low insertion and return loss.
