Kuitukaapeli METZ CONNECT 151J1EOJOB0E SC LC I-V(ZN) H 20 m aqua

The METZ CONNECT 151J1EOJOB0E SC LC I-V(ZN) H 20 m Aqua is a 20 metre multimode fibre optic patch cable engineered for reliable high-speed data transmission in network infrastructures. With SC and LC connectors and a 50 µm core diameter classified as OM3, this cable supports full duplex communication and is suitable for modern data centre and enterprise networking environments. The aqua jacket provides easy visual identification in cable assemblies and trunking.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable delivers low attenuation and consistent modal bandwidth for stable performance over short to medium distances. The combination of SC and LC connectors provides compatibility with a wide range of equipment and patch panels. The 20 m length reduces the need for additional splices or intermediate couplers in typical rack-to-rack or switch-to-switch connections. The cable construction follows industry practices for mechanical protection while maintaining flexibility for installation in conduits and cable trays.

Suitable for

• Data centre rack-to-rack and switch interconnects
• Enterprise backbone and horizontal fibre runs
• Server-to-switch connections requiring OM3 multimode performance
• Patch panels, fibre enclosures and telecommunication cabinets

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 m
• Cable type: I-V(ZN) H multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm (OM3 multimode)
• Connector A: SC (single connector end)
• Connector B: LC (single connector end)
• Duplex support: full duplex
• Jacket colour: aqua

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness and damage before making connections. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and maintain the recommended minimum bend radius to prevent attenuation increases. Insert the SC and LC connectors into compatible ports or adapters until they engage securely; ensure correct orientation for duplex links. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or strain relief and label both ends to simplify future maintenance.

Recommendations

Use a fibre optic cleaning tool or lint-free wipes with approved cleaning solution before connecting. Avoid stepping on or crushing the cable and keep it away from high-EMI power sources. Choose OM3-compatible transceivers and transmit power settings suitable for multimode links to achieve expected performance over the 20 m run.
