Kuitukaapeli METZ CONNECT 151J1JOJO20E 2x LC OM3 2 m aqua

The METZ CONNECT 151J1JOJO20E is a 2 m fibre optic patch cable with dual LC connectors and OM3 multimode fibre. Designed for short-range, high-bandwidth links in data centres, telecom closets and enterprise networks, this aqua-coloured cable supports reliable light transmission with a 50 µm core diameter and is intended for structured cabling and equipment interconnects where OM3 performance is required.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers low insertion loss and stable optical performance across typical multimode transmission distances. The OM3 specification provides improved modal bandwidth for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed multimode applications. Dual LC connectors on both ends enable compact, duplex connections compatible with many switches, transceivers and patch panels. The aqua colour facilitates quick visual identification of OM3 links within cabling bundles and racks.

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm multimode
• Connectors: 2x LC to 2x LC (duplex)
• Cable length: 2 m
• Colour: Aqua

How to use

Route the cable between compatible LC duplex ports on networking equipment, ensuring connectors are clean before insertion. Align the LC latch and gently insert until it clicks to secure the connection. Avoid tight bends and maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius during installation. For patching in racks or panels, label both ends if necessary to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean optical connectors with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before each connection. Use the cable for distances and applications matched to OM3 multimode performance; avoid using in environments where singlemode fibre is required. Store spare cables in protective reels or bags to prevent contamination and mechanical damage.
