Kuitukaapeli METZ CONNECT 151J1JOJO80E LC I-V(ZN) H 8 m aqua

The METZ CONNECT 151J1JOJO80E LC I-V(ZN) H 8 m Aqua is an OM3 multimode fibre optic patch cable designed for full duplex high-speed data transmission. With a 50 µm core diameter and LC-to-LC connectors, the 8 m cable provides reliable short- to mid-range connections in structured cabling, server rooms, and data centre links. The Aqua jacket identifies OM3 performance and helps visual cable management in dense installations.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable delivers low insertion loss and consistent optical performance suitable for multimode OM3 networks. The LC connectors offer compact duplex termination that fits high-density panels and transceivers. The I-V(ZN) H cable type and 8 m length provide flexibility for patching between racks, equipment and patch panels while minimising signal degradation over typical multimode distances. The aqua-coloured sheath improves visibility and helps maintain organised cabling.

Suitable for

• Data centre interconnects and cabinet patching
• Server-to-switch connections in enterprise networks
• High-speed multimode links using OM3 transceivers
• Telecommunications rooms and structured cabling systems

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC, duplex
• Cable length: 8 m
• Jacket colour: Aqua (OM3 identification)
• Cable construction: multimode patch cable suitable for indoor installations

How to use

Connect each LC connector into the corresponding LC adapter or transceiver port, ensuring correct orientation for duplex transmission. Handle the fibre cable carefully to avoid sharp bends; maintain the recommended minimum bend radius for multimode fibre to prevent increased attenuation. Route the cable through cable managers or patch panels to secure and protect the fibre during operation. Verify link status with network equipment and, if required, measure insertion loss with appropriate test equipment to confirm performance.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 LC-LC patch cable for short to medium multimode links where OM3 performance is required. Keep bend radius and connector cleanliness in mind: clean connectors before mating and avoid tight bends or crushing to preserve signal quality and prolong service life.
