Kuitukaapeli METZ CONNECT 151P7JAJA05E LC I-V(ZN) H 0,5 m valkoinen

The METZ CONNECT 151P7JAJA05E LC I-V(ZN) H 0.5 m White is a short duplex fibre optic patch cable designed for reliable single-mode connections. It uses LC connectors on both ends and G.657.A2 fibre type with a 9 µm core diameter, making it suitable for tight-bend installations and short interconnect runs in data centers, telecom closets, or patch panels. The white jacket and compact 0.5 m length allow tidy routing and colour-coded identification in structured cabling setups.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable combines the compact LC connector form factor with G.657.A2 fibre characteristics to deliver low-loss connections and improved bend tolerance compared with standard single-mode fibres. The I-V(ZN) H jacket provides mechanical flexibility and handling durability for installation in confined spaces. The short 0.5 m length reduces excess cable bulk in patching areas and supports neat, professional cable management.

Suitable for

• Short-distance interconnects between switches, transceivers and patch panels
• High-density server rack and data center patching
• Tight-bend routes and confined cable ducts
• Fiber optic equipment testing and temporary link setups

Key specifications

• Fibre type: G.657.A2 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connectors: LC to LC (duplex)
• Cable type: I-V(ZN) H jacket construction
• Length: 0.5 m
• Colour: White

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before connecting and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Align and insert the LC connectors into corresponding LC ports on transceivers, patch panels, or wall outlets until they click into place; ensure duplex orientation matches the transmit/receive alignment required by equipment. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable during routing; maintain bend radii suitable for G.657.A2 fibres to preserve optical performance. When removing, depress the LC latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the connector.

Recommendations

Use this 0.5 m LC–LC cable for short patching runs where compact routing and bend tolerance are important. Store and handle connectors with protective caps when not connected, and follow standard optical safety and cleaning procedures to maintain optimal signal quality.
