Kuitukaapeli ShiverPeaks S/CONN 77922/3 2m SC turkoosi

The ShiverPeaks S/CONN 77922/3 2m SC Turquoise is an OM3 multimode fibre optic patch cable with SC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for short- to medium-range high-speed data links, this full-duplex cable supports typical multimode applications in structured cabling, data centres and telecom racks. The turquoise jacket provides visual identification consistent with OM3 fibre colour coding while the 2 m length balances reach and manageability in patching panels and network devices.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable delivers low insertion loss and stable signal transmission for multimode links over short distances. The SC connectors ensure a secure push-pull mating and repeatable optical performance. A 50 µm core supports commonly used multimode transceivers, enabling high bandwidth for 10 Gbps and other multimode systems where OM3 specification is applicable. The turquoise outer jacket makes cable routing and identification straightforward within dense cabling environments.

Suitable for

• Data centre patch panels and cross-connects
• High-speed multimode links between switches and servers
• Telecommunications racks and equipment cabinets
• Structured cabling in enterprise and campus networks

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: SC on both ends (duplex/full-duplex configuration)
• Length: 2 metres
• Jacket colour: Turquoise (OM3 identification)
• Transmission: Multimode optical link suitable for high-speed data

How to use

Route the cable between corresponding SC ports on networking devices, patch panels or transceiver modules, ensuring clean connector end faces before mating. Insert the SC connector into the adapter or port until it clicks into place to establish a secure optical connection. For removal, depress the latch and pull straight out. Maintain gentle bend radii during installation and avoid placing tension on the cable to preserve optical performance.

Recommendations

Clean connector end faces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before each connection, adhere to the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius guidelines, and store excess cable neatly in racks or organisers to prevent microbending. Use OM3-compliant transceivers and ensure link loss budgets are observed for reliable operation.
